garden - kookaburra

A kookaburra decided our garden would make a good nursery for its young. The little one (actually quite big) hung around patiently all day until I heard them 'laughing' as they re-united in the evening.
If you would like to hear the Laughing Kookaburra, go to the following site, scroll down and press 'bird call':

garden
I'm lucky to be able to go out twice a week and interact with horses, plus exercise my reaction times while driving, with kangaroos. But I often forget how many amazing creatures there are in the garden - from the ones that can't be ignored (Magpies and ever hungry, roof rattling possums) to the little ones you can easily overlook (lizards, blue-striped bees, beetles and spiders like this beautiful Orb Weaver). So here's to the amazing world in your garden!
