James and I had a beautiful time sketching the horses of St Mark in Venice. They give a remarkable feeling of serenity in person. The real horses are inside the Basilica - we had the joy of listening to the singing below at mass while we drew.

your art is beautiful! I use to draw horses as well. I enjoy the different types of art work you show on here. I use to own a 17 y/o Thoroughbred. He was a sweet boy. He has a new owner now who is 7 and the horse is going to be a Dressage horse. The horse use to win blue ribbons in Dressage. He was good. I really enjoy you blog!
